What are KAT I/O Business and KAT Industry?

KAT I/O Business (IOB) is designed for VR arcades and commercial entertainment venues. It serves as a game platform for running and managing supported VR content with KAT VR devices. KAT Industry is designed for development and research purposes. When used together with the KAT SDK, it allows developers and researchers to develop and integrate their own applications and content with KAT VR devices. Both software solutions support the KAT PRO series, including KAT PRO Mini S and KAT PRO Walk Mecha.

What are the official height and weight restrictions for the KAT PRO Mini S and KAT PRO Walk Mecha?

- Recommended height: 1.4-1.95 m (4'7"–6'5")
- Maximum user weight: 130 kg (286 lbs)

Would it be possible to use split payment terms instead of 100% in advance?

We accept e.g., 30% deposit and 70% against shipment / bill of lading, or 50/50.

Do you provide the warranty?

Yes, we provide 1 Year warranty, (12 months for the main components. 3 months for accessories.) The same main component is repaired twice.

In case of warranty replacement, do you cover the shipping costs for spare parts, or should the buyer pay for transport?

We will send a replacement free of charge during the warranty period.

What is the shipping terms and how long is the lead time for MINI S/MECHA?

Normally we do the EXW, if you don't have forwarder in China, We also support FCA/CIF/DDP.

As for the lead time, 1-5 units as example, it will cost 7-10 days for production, 35-45 days for shipping to Europe/US, 25-35 days shipping to Asia countries.

What is the difference between the KAT PRO Series(Walk Mini S and Walk Mecha) and KAT Walk C2 Series?

The KAT Walk C2 Series is designed primarily for personal and home VR use, providing an immersive locomotion experience for gaming and entertainment.
The KAT PRO Series, including the KAT PRO Walk Mini S and KAT PRO Walk Mecha, is designed for commercial, professional, research, and development applications, such as VR arcades, training, simulation, and custom VR projects.
Unlike the KAT Walk C2 Series, which requires dedicated KAT VR shoes, the KAT PRO Series can be used with regular footwear, making it more convenient for environments with multiple users.
For software, the KAT PRO Series supports KAT I/O Business (IOB) for VR arcade applications and KAT Industry with the KAT SDK for development and research projects.

What is the KAT VR SDK and what can it be used for?

The KAT VR SDK (Software Development Kit) is a set of development tools and APIs that allows developers and researchers to integrate KAT VR locomotion into their own VR applications.
With the SDK, developers can access KAT VR device data and build custom VR content for applications such as training, simulation, research, education, and other professional projects.
The KAT VR SDK currently supports Unity and Unreal Engine and can be used with compatible KAT VR devices for custom development.
